Growth Mindset: Tools for Graduate School and Life

Both internal and external factors can impact your mindset, especially during graduate school. Research shows that one of the most important components of resilience is a growth mindset. The good news is we can all further develop and strengthen this mindset through evidence-based cognitive strategies and practices.

  • Define the differences between a fixed and a growth mindset
  • Explore traps of the fixed mindset and the benefits of a growth mindset.
  • Explore tools proven to cultivate and sustain a growth mindset, to help you become a more resilient graduate student and life-long learner.
