Cornell CBI Symposium

The Chemical Biology Interface (CBI) Symposium will be held on April 27th in PSB 120. Come support & interact with internal Cornell faculty, external investigators, and industry representatives. Specifically, you won't want to miss Doug Johnson, Director of Chemical Biology & Proteomics at Biogen. Previously he was head of Chemical Biology in the Neuroscience Medicinal Chemistry group of Pfizer where he applied chemical biology methods to enable drug discovery projects leading to clinical candidates for the treatment of breast cancer, schizophrenia, CNS disorders and Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to his NIH postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard, he completed his PhD in organic chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute. His talk will be on the application of clickable chemical biology probes and bioorthogonal chemistry in drug discovery. Register if you interested in partaking in the poster session (open to all Cornell undergraduates, graduate students, and post docs) in addition to attending.
