- Cindy Leifer, Associate Professor of Immunology, Department of Microbiology and Immunology (). Co-host of “Immune” podcast.
- Tom Seeley, Horace White Professor in Biology, Department of Neurobiology and Behavior. Author of Honeybee Democracy (2010) and other books.
6:00 pm Pizza & veggies, informal discussion
This weekend workshop trains researchers to communicate effectively with non scientists such as policy makers, political stakeholders, the media, and the general public. Training activities may include role-play, reading/discussion, writing press releases and other outreach materials, and discussion with invited speakers.
