  • Cindy Leifer, Associate Professor of Immunology, Department of Microbiology and Immunology (). Co-host of “Immune” podcast.
  • Tom Seeley, Horace White Professor in Biology, Department of Neurobiology and Behavior. Author of Honeybee Democracy (2010) and other books.

This weekend workshop trains researchers to communicate effectively with non scientists such as policy makers, political stakeholders, the media, and the general public. Training activities may include role-play, reading/discussion, writing press releases and other outreach materials, and discussion with invited speakers.
