takes place August 2nd and 3rd in Ithaca, NY

ComSciCon-NY is a science communication workshop engaging attendees with science communication experts. STEM graduate students and post-doctoral researchers from universities based in New York (e.g. Cornell, Binghamton, Syracuse, Rochester, etc.) are invited to apply.

  • Podcasts, outreach & social media
  • Citizen science & engaged scholarship

Interactive sessions with expert panelists and professional communicators

Networking opportunities with peers passionate about science communication

Hands-on training to practice and perfect communication skills

As part of a national organization, ComSciCon attendees have founded new science communication organizations in collaboration with other students events, published over 80 articles written at the conferences in popular publications with national impact, and formed lasting networks with student alumni and invited experts.
