Jocelyn Marshall completes Good Clinical Practices Course

Congratulations to BESTie, Jocelyn Marshall, for completing the Good Clinical Practices Course.

"I recently completed the online course in Good Clinical Practices offered through Technology Ed. The course was held in 9 modules, each with a brief homework assignment reviewing the material covered in the module as well as a final exam that brought together all the knowledge learned in the course. The course covered the ethical and legal practices for clinical research as well as terminology relating to clinical trials. For me, the course was helpful because there isn’t a course or emphasis on clinical research here at the Cornell main campus. By being familiar with the terminology and regulations regarding clinical trials, I can better position myself for networking and interview opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.

I would recommend the course for anyone interested in transitioning to clinical research or a pharma job which will deal with research. It is a good way to learn terminology to make you sound more informed during networking/interviews."-Jocelyn Marshall
